If there’s one complaint people seem to have with the Xbox One more often than not, it’s that it doesn’t have nearly as many console exclusives as its direct competitors do. Thankfully enough, there’s some pretty interesting stuff in the pipeline, and one of the most high profile releases slated for the system has to be Rare’s Sea of Thieves. And there’s no two ways about it- it looks good. Really good. In this feature, we’re going to list fifteen of the most major talking points that have us very excited about the upcoming co-operative pirate action game. Without further ado, let’s jump straight in.

SAILING

Sea of Thieves, like so many other games on the market in the current generation, will be a game with immense focus on co-op play, and nowhere will that be more apparent than what is obviously going to be the game’s most dominant mechanic- sailing. While sailing the high seas, players will have to work together and take up different roles, ranging across several varieties, such as steering, navigation, hoisting and un-hoisting the sails, manning the canons, and everything else that comes along with the ownership of a ship.
