That's down to higher resolution shadow rendering in the game's PS5 version, according to a Digital Foundry analysis.

Details on what exactly the series' next instalment will be are currently scant, however.
The mobile battle royale offshoot reportedly generated $1.4 million in its first four days, compared to Call of Duty Mobile's $4.2 million.
The newest patch has also added 87 new unlockable remix colour options, increased the character and player level cap to 65, and more.
"And I think the games and the gaming experiences you see on PlayStation 5, led by PlayStation Studios, are the best that we’ve ever seen," says the outgoing PlayStation CEO.
Sony allegedly also wants PS5 Pro Enhanced titles to offer a mode that combines PSSR-upscaled 4K resolution, 60 FPS performance, and ray tracing.
Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt says that would be "a childhood dream come true."
The studio will be led by Yosuke Hayashi, who is known for his work on Nioh, Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, and more.
"Banishers is not an AAA game, it’s a nicely crafted AA game," says narrative director Stéphane Beauverger.
The survival horror remake, which is still without a release date, was recently also rated in South Korea.
"We will be adding new gameplay elements and new mechanics that you have not seen in our previous games," says co-CEO Michał Nowakowski.
