Biomutant

Biomutant may not have been the game that many were hoping it would be, but there’s little doubt that Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic’s post-apocalyptic open world action RPG has found an audience for itself. Last year, the game expanded its horizons further with a native release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and soon, it’ll be opening the gates for even more players.

THQ Nordic has announced that Biomutant will finally be releasing for the Nintendo Switch later this year, on November 30, over two and a half years on from its original launch. Both physical and digital releases will be available. There’s no word yet on what the game’s technical specs on the platform will be, but with plenty of months left until its launch, it’s likely we’ll be learning more in that front in the future.

In our review of the game back when it first launched, we gave it a score of 5/10, saying, “Biomutant works best on paper, but it has too many derivative elements for anything alone to stand out.” You can read the full review through here. You can also read our review of the current-gen versions through here.

Biomutant is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
