Xbox Series X Full Specifications Revealed, 1 TB Expansion Card Confirmed

Performance target is 4K resolution at 60 fps with up to 120 fps possible.

It’s been a fairly busy day for Microsoft and the Xbox Series X. The company has released the full hardware specs for the next gen console, confirming such rumored features as the 1 TB expansion card. It also noted the target performance for the console being 4K resolution at 60 fps with the potential for up to 120 fps.

Other features include 12 TFLOPS of GPU performance on a custom RDNA 2 GPU with 52 CUs running at 1.825 GHz. Include memory is 16 GB GDDR6 with a 320mb bus and a memory bandwidth of 10 GB @ 560 GB per second and 6 GB @ 336 GB per second. Check out the full official Xbox Series X specs below:

Microsoft has also released videos showcasing loading times on the console compared to the Xbox One X, namely in State of Decay 2. Quick Resume was also demoed and looked smooth with Digital Foundry confirming that a minimum of three Series X games were supported. It was also confirmed that The Coalition’s Gears 5 was up and running on the console in just two weeks, complete with PC Ultra graphical settings and Unreal Engine 4’s new ray-traced screen-space global illumination, all running at 60 frames per second.
