Sea of Thieves

Rare’s Sea of Thieves looks to be a return to form for the studio, as the upcoming multiplayer pirate game seems to channel all of Rare’s best qualities from their heyday – a charming artstyle, great and witty humor, and addictive gameplay – with a new and modern spin. Each time we see more of the game, we come more and more around to it- and that continues with these 12 new minutes of gameplay footage for the game that we just got.

This footage, courtesy of Outside Xbox, sees the players trying to find their footing in the world. They don’t seem to have a handle on a lot of the game’s mechanics, but they are getting around in the world a whole lot, and that’s still fun to see.

Sea of Thieves is due out on the Xbox One and on Windows 10 PCs next year. Check out the video below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.
