PlayStation Vita TV Announced: Remote Play, Classic Titles and Vita Games on TV

Yes, that's right. PS Vita titles on your TV.

Sony has revealed PlayStation Vita TV for Japan, and revealed a trailer for the same. The device will allow for PS4 Remote Play and playing PSP and other classic PlayStation Titles, along with movies and TV. It’s due to release on November 14th at ¥9954.

But more interestingly, it allows you to play PlayStation Vita titles on your TV set. So while Remote Play allows for PlayStation 4 titles on your Vita, PS Vita TV allows for PS Vita titles on your TV.

PlayStation Vita has had a rather busy day, with Soul Sacrifice Delta and Yakuza Ishin arriving on the handheld next year, along with the PlayStation Vita 2000 model, which is a lighter and thinner version of the original with longer battery life. It will be available in Japan on October 10th, although information on a Western release is lacking. Stay tuned for more details as they arrive. What are your thoughts on PS Vita TV in the meantime?
