Palworld’s various Pals have elemental properties, like Pokemon. There are nine in total, some dealing effective damage to the others, while others sit somewhat outside that circle. For example, Neutral Pals don’t take damage from at least seven elements in the game.

Electric is strong against Water. Water is effective against Fire. Fire is good against Grass, while Grass excels Ground. Ground beats Electric. However, Fire is also strong against Ice, while Ice can beat Dragon. Dragon wipes the floor with Dark, while Dark can defeat Neutral. Keep this in mind, especially when facing Alpha Pals and Tower trainers.

Best Weapons and How to Find Them

While you’ll discover different schematics for weapons, many of the best are crafted at your base. You’ll start with a Primitive Workbench for the simpler weapons, but a High-Quality Workbench is required for firearms (which need ammo) and Steel melee weapons and tools. Of course, you also must reach the required character level and research the item in question from the Technology tree.

Here are the best weapons in the game and how to craft them. If you’re ever stumped on finding the materials for crafting certain materials, try venturing out into the world and catching new Pals or fighting other Faction members. They may have what you need.
