Moonlighter

We haven’t heard much about Digital Sun Games’ Moonlighter since it was delayed to early 2018 to allow for more polish. Thankfully, development is progressing on the dungeon crawler/item management title. The developer recently announced that Moonlighter would be releasing on the Nintendo Switch as well as PS4, PC and Xbox One. A new trailer was released to showcase the game.

According to the developer, fans had requested Moonlighter to be ported over to the Nintendo Switch. Independent studios have been experiencing major success with the platform since its launch and demand like this for games like Moonlighter certainly helps.

Moonlighter has a very Zelda-esque tone with its combat but it also combines rogue-lite mechanics with the ability to loot dungeons and sell the items in a shop. From there you purchase better equipment and weapons, becoming stronger and stronger until you can progress further into the dungeons and repeat the process. It’s fairly addicting to say the least.
