Capcom’s remaster of Monster Hunter Stories is out in June, but PS4 players get a special surprise on the same day – the release of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Available now for PC and Nintendo Switch, it’s out on June 14th for PS4. Check out the announcement trailer below.
The story focuses on the player character, who seeks to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps to become a Rider. However, he encounters Ena, a Wyverian with an egg that hatches a Razewing Ratha instead of a Rathalos. The monster is believed to bring ruin, and it’s up to the player to team up with and protect it on their journey.
Throughout the title, players can recruit different monsters to their cause, like Tigrex, Nargacuga and many other famous creatures. They can hunt for eggs to breed monsters with unique genes and fight in turn-based battles with other Riders. Check out our review here to learn more.
