Cuts for western release of Yakuza 4 “nothing like Yakuza 3”

Sega of America says only minimal cuts will be made for the Western release of Yakuza 4, unlike Yakuza 3, which lacked a lot of features in the Europe and US versions of the games that were there in the Japanese version. Sega says these minimal cuts will make the long time series fans very happy.

Hostesses, hostess fress-up mini games, Chinese tiles mahjong will all be there, Sega community manager Aaron Webber told Kotaku. He said the chops will be “nothing like Yakuza 3.”

Answer X Answer, an interactive Japanese game show that’s rendered in custom-animated fonts will be chopped off.
