Sea of Thieves Releasing on March 20th 2018, New Gameplay Trailer Released

The co-op pirate adventure is only a few months away for Xbox One and Windows 10 players.

Rare’s online shared world pirate game Sea of Thieves has received a release date courtesy of Microsoft. It’s been announced that the title will arrive on March 20th for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. We also get a new trailer which showcases all manner of piracy, thievery and sword fighting with reanimated skeletons.

Sea of Thieves was announced way back at E3 2015 during Microsoft’s presser and features first person gameplay encompassing exploration, shooting, puzzle solving and ship battles along with other hijinks. Players will work together on ships, traversing the open world and managing their pirate vessel together.

Along with the ability to cooperate in a group, you’ll run into other groups of players in your quests for loot. It will then be possible to engage said players in combat. Sea of Thieves is currently in the testing phase with Rare’s Insider Programme and should likely take in more players as time progresses. Stay tuned for more information en route to release.
