Sea of Thieves Closed Beta Extended By 2 Days, Will Now End On January 31

Due to login issues faced by some players, the closed beta has been extended.

Sea of Thieves’ closed beta went live two days ago and it has been facing some issues with players not being able to play the beta and a message popping up stating “too early.” The Developer Rare acknowledged the issue and they even sent out a new update that fixes the issue although it’ll take a while until everyone gets this update.

This =issue has understandably prevented this beta phase from getting off to a great start. However, Rare is doing everything they can to address this problem. They have now announced that the closed beta will be extended by another 2 days, which means that the beta will now end on January 31 and not on January 29 as was originally planned. This is certainly welcome news as players will be able to spend more time exploring the many facets of the game.

Sea of Thieves is set to release for the PC and Xbox One on March 20, 2018.
