Ghost Of Tsushima Was Once Planned For First Half Of 2020, Now Pushed Back To Later In The Year – Rumor

Another rumored delay hits another Sony exclusive.

It’s been one of those days, it seems. Earlier we got word from Kotaku’s Jason Schreier that The Last of Us Part 2 is getting delayed until Spring of 2020, despite having big release date reveal about a month ago. That’s a bummer, obviously, but it seems its not the only Sony game getting pushed back potentially.

In a follow up to his tweet talking about The Last of Us Part 2, Schreier also revealed that Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima also got an internal push back until later in 2020. Technically speaking, you can’t quite call it a delay since the game has never had a release date, or even release window. Interestingly, Schreier also says there were plans to release the game in the first half of 2020, which is somewhat surprising itself considering how little we’ve seen from the game.

People have speculated that the game is destined for a PS5 launch, though Sony has reassured that it will still come out on the PS4 as announced. But it’s looking very likely at this point that the game could be a cross-gen one. Either way, we probably won’t be seeing this on shelves for at least a year.
