There is a lot that we’ve been able to learn about Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown so far, but on the other hand, there’s a lot that is still yet to be revealed. On that front, Bandai Namco continues to show us more and more as the game’s release finally approaches. To that effect, a brand new gameplay video has been shared, which showcases the seventh mission in the game called ‘First Contact.’

At a preview event at Bandai Namco Entertainment’s headquarters in Tokyo, DualShockers got to try the game out for themselves, and they were allowed to record gameplay from mission 7 of the game. In this mission, players are tasked with destroying radar sites which are nearby some giant rocks, and it’s as dangerous as you can imagine. In the video, we get to see the player pilot the Mitsubishi F-2 as they try to complete the task at hand. From what we can see in the video, the action looks quite exciting, suitably enough, and the visuals are gorgeous.

You can check out the new gameplay video below. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is set to release for the PS4 and Xbox One on January 18 and for the PC on February 1. Recently we also learned about the game’s awesome pre-order bonuses. Read more on that through here.
