Square Enix has released a four-part behind-the-scenes series detailing the open world action RPG's development.
Taking inspiration from Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow the Hedgehog, the film will release worldwide on December 20.

However, the studio isn't ruling out implementing in-game monetization in any future multiplayer products.
The studio attributes this to "an industry-wide slowdown in the funding of new lead and co-development projects and the reluctance of third-party investors to fund games or game companies."
