The open beta will let players explore the Red Isle, Coast of Africa, Open Seas, and the East Indies. Progress will carry over to the full game.
Each season will add new features like Territory Control and Fleet Management, limited-time events, new ships, and more for free.
Players will craft contraband and engage in Heists and Takeovers to secure manufactories and grow their pirate empire in the endgame.
Meanwhile, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown debuts in fourth place, with Hogwarts Legacy and EA Sports FC 24 still occupying the top two spots.

The side-scrolling Metroidvania title launched on January 18th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
The game, which has yet to be officially announcd by Ubisoft, will likely be based on Netflix's Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.
